Mirabai Pease

Mirabai is of Middle Eastern, Rotuman and English descent. She made her on screen debut as a child on crime-series HARRY in 2013. Following this, she went on to appear in a number of roles before attending The Actors Program in 2018 and has gone from role to role ever since. Mirabai has been recurring cast in classic New Zealand shows like high school rugby drama HEAD HIGH, true crime series BLACK HANDS, Netflix show THE GULF, the Sione’s Wedding prequel DUCKROCKERS, and hospital drama SHORTLAND STREET. She made her cinema debut playing ‘Teresa’ in the Warner Bros horror film, EVIL DEAD RISE. At the moment you can find her playing the sassy ‘Lena Branston’ on THE BROKENWOOD MYSTERIES Season 10 and 11 or as the sweet ‘Nurse Shelby’ in A REMARKABLE PLACE TO DIE.
